Dr. Michael Porco
Dr. Michael Porco was born in Winnipeg and grew up in Transcona, practically next door to our clinic.
He loves getting to know his patients and forming lasting relationships with them. He enjoys treating people of all ages and educating patients so they become actively involved in their treatment decisions. Nothing makes Dr. Porco happier than seeing a patient leave with a sense of satisfaction and a proud smile.
He values family and hard work, and has a great passion for everything he does. Dr. Porco enjoys helping others and putting smiles on their faces. These qualities naturally led him to pursue a career in dentistry.
He graduated from the University of Manitoba College of Dentistry in 2013 after completing a BSc. in 2009. His education taught him the latest treatments and innovations in oral health care. Dr. Porco is a member of the Winnipeg Dental Society and the Two Rivers Progressive Study Club (an affiliate of the Seattle Study Club). He has studied at the Misch Implant Institute as well as the Pacific Training Institute for Facial Aesthetics and Therapeutics. He also volunteers his time working with the Manitoba Dental Association.
Having spent his entire dental career at Kildonan Crossing Dental Centre, he is now proud to continue his journey as co-owner of the clinic.
Dr. Porco enjoys all aspects of general dentistry, with special interests in implant dentistry and the therapeutic use of neuromodulators (including Botox) for facial aesthetics and chronic jaw or facial pain.
