Dr. Pinette understands that going to the dentist can be an overwhelming experience for some people and strives to make each patient feel educated, empowered and comfortable during each visit. Born and raised in Transcona, she always knew that she would enter a profession dedicated to helping others and is excited to work in the community that she grew up in.
Dr. Pinette graduated from the University of Manitoba in 2018 with a Doctor of Dental Medicine. Dr. Pinette graduated with Dean’s Honours and received several awards for high academic standing. Prior to this she completed a Baccalaureate in Nursing, graduating with distinction in 2006. After working for many years as a registered nurse at the Health Sciences Centre, she made the transition into dentistry. One of her favourite memories of dental school was completing a mission trip to Peru, where she served those who would otherwise not have received dental care.
When away from the office Dr. Pinette enjoys spending time with her husband and three children. They can most often be found at a hockey arena or curling club during the winter, or cycling on the beautiful Manitoba trails in the warmer months.
Dr. Pinette welcomes people of any age to her practice and looks forward to building lasting relationships with all of her patients.
"Patient comfort and connection is important to me. When I have someone in the dental chair, I want them to know that if they have any questions about their dental health, they only have to ask. I'm here to help them."
